About گویان
گویان یا گایانا با نام رسمی جمهوری تعاونی گویان کشوری در شمال شرقی آمریکای جنوبی در منطقه کارائیب است. پایتخت آن جورجتاون و جمعیت آن در حدود ۷۸۷ هزار نفر است. زبان رسمی این کشور انگلیسی و واحد پول آن دلار گویان است. گویان از شرق با سورینام، از جنوب با برزیل و از غرب با ونزوئلا و با اقیانوس اطلس هممرز است. گویان با ۲۱۵٬۰۰۰ کیلومتر مربع، بعد از اروگوئه و سورینام کوچکترین کشور آمریکای جنوبی است.
