تایلَند با نام رسمی پادشاهی تایلند و نام پیشین سیام، کشوری در شبه‌جزیره هندوچین واقع در جنوب شرقی آسیاست. تایلند از شمال غربی و غرب با میانمار و از شمال شرقی و شرق با لائوس و از جنوب شرقی با کامبوج و از جنوب با مالزی همسایه است. زبان رسمی آن تایلندی و پایتخت و پرجمعیت‌ترین شهر آن بانکوک است. نام تایلند در زبان مردم محلی برگرفته از دو لغت Thai و Land می‌باشد که به معنای سرزمین مردمان آزاد یا همان قوم تای است. جمعیت این کشور در سال ۲۰۲۰، ۶۹٬۷۷۸٬۰۰۰ نفر بوده است.
